General Description
The LCX16646 contains sixteen non-inverting bidirectional
registeredbus transceivers with TRI-STATEÉ outputs,pro-
viding multiplexed transmissionof data directly fromthein-
putbusor fromthe internal storage registers. Each bytehas
separate control inputs whichcanbe shorted togetherfor
full 16-bit operation.TheDIR inputs determinethe direction dataflow throughthe device.The CPAB andCPBA inputs
load dataintothe registersonthe LOW-to-HIGH transition.
The four fundamental handling functions availableare illus-
trated inFigure1 thru Figure4.
The LCX16646is designedforlow voltage (3.3V) VCC appli-
cationswith capabilityof interfacingtoa5V signal environ-
ment.
The LCX16646is fabricated withan advanced CMOS tech-
nologyto achieve high speed operation while maintaining
CMOSlow power dissipation.
